I provide some reasonable proof that the NBA is using magnetic rims during games and especially for fan shots. If you've played basketball, then you should notice that basketballs DON'T WORK THE WAY THEY DO IN THE NBA. A BASKETBALL WON'T GET STUCK TO THE BACK OF THE RIM ON A HALF COURT THROW SHOT! THE BALL DOESN'T BOUNCE TWICE ON THE RIM, SWITCH SIDES, AND THEN DROP! Fair Use and all that blah blah.
